I had a nice experience and the staff was dope! Since it was my first trip I got a free pre-roll too! I am definitely planning to go back
I drive out from East Bay to this location (I'm perfectly equidistant from the Oakland and SJ locations) and make the commute because the staff is really friendly and the product is good. Every time I've gone, the staff is there to greet me out front (which is really nice because SJ can get scary for a girl of my size), and when I go in, every staff member is super friendly and helpful. I also really love that most of the products (bud, concentrates, and edibles) are out on display so you can view them before getting to the counter. I can imagine it can get busy, but I guess I've just been lucky because I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes (I tend to go early to mid afternoon during the week). I suppose it's a little on the pricey side, but it's been worth the $ for me, especially with many of the smaller places getting shut down or selling cheap, low-quality bud. The facility is very clean and roomy, and oftentimes there are vendors there offering premium products. I highly recommend this place especially if you are new to the whole dispensary scene; they are super helpful.
GOOD: Very professional greeters and paperwork processing.
BAD: Very small selection of flower.
UGLY: Obscene lines. There were 3 tenders and a line pouring out through the door. Tenders really need to learn to manage neurotic and inconsiderate customers that take 30 minutes to make a selection, hogging all the resources. Or they need an express checkout for people who don't take half an hour to make a selection for a single item!!!
I will NOT be back.
Awesome spacious place. Everything is beautifully on display. You don't feel rushed or awkward at all. Staff is very friendly and allows you to take your time. Just wish they had more deals!!
great bud... great staff... more than just a dispensary (acupuncture, etc.)
I will be returning regularly!
Buds looked Meh and way to expensive.
They have some great full melt hashes always in stock and the Ganja Goodness 20 dose edibles are an outstanding value.
prices are all on the high side and then you have to add tax.
I continue to but the 20 dose edibles and the tasty full melts but their buds and wax are too expensive for the quality compared to the competition.

They have an ok selection the club has gone a hill. This use to be a really look place to get my meds but they have been slacking off with the quality. Yes they do offer a lot of extras but they dont offer to pay the taxes like a majority of the other clubs do.
as an update to my first post I got some clones not to my liking. although this set me back a few months, SJ location made good and allowed me to come in an get new clones, or seeds. I picked up a fresf batch of seed that have all sprouted and look forward to seeing the final product. thanks again too all at HS in SJ

i have been going here for years for my medical condition and i finally checked out weed maps and found plenty of other dispensary around san jose that is way better than harbor side. I used to think they were the best because of the tv show and how they are a bigger company than the rest, but i now realized i have been wrong. The only reason I have been continuing to go to harbor side was the service i used to get, and now i don't feel like i get treated the same anymore. Im just another customer they see everyday. Vin was always helpful and accommodated to my needs and always took his time with me but it seems like he does not work there anymore. I recalled he was the manager there and a few of my colleagues including i would always feel appreciated there. Harborside needs someone with leadership to treat us like patients and not customers. i will not be going back to harbor side anymore. And Vin if your reading this, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, we need to catch up. Thanks
