Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff.
They don't accept credit cards, yet, But they do have an ATM which is very handy.

If I could give staff a negative 10 I would. Only person there, I walk up to counter say Hello. The guy ignores me, I wait thinking he might be hard of hearing or in his head. finally guy looks up and says "what". Guy proceeds to jerk me around for 20min, He was seriously fucking with me. Took my Id, my paperwork I filled out, vanished for 20min. I fianlly said fuck this and left. I will never come here again, I will say nothing but bad things to everyone i know about your terrible store and your "staff". What a joke, this is the kind of place that gives marijuana stores a bad name, for assholes, run by assholes.
So, I just made my first-time visit at Green Cross Caregivers today! Oh, boy, where do I start...
I stopped in around 3:30, which is later than I usually go to dispensaries, and there was little traffic. It made the atmosphere very personable. The paperwork was short and didn't take long, and the guy operating the desk (wearing black and grey flannel(? I think it was?)) was extremely friendly. When I was sent back I was greeted by a friendly female budtender in a tie dye shirt. Fucking... awesome... XD.
The girl was really nice, had some good opinions to offer and made some good suggestions for medication for me. Their wares seemed a bit lacking, but when they broke out their jars, WHOOOOOO its some staaanky shit! Her recommendation seemed solid on their girl scout cookies (which also is a highly praised strain on leafly and weedmaps dispensary reviews both) and, upon my request, she broke out some of their higher end CBD content flowers. I selected their black rose. After having a look at their girl scout cookie wax, just to see, I left. Having to pay with cash is a little bit of a con, but for my buying purposes, it doesn't matter. Might matter to you, the reader, though! So keep in mind, while an ATM is available with a 2 dollar charge, you'll be paying wit' 'dem Jacksons. The two eighths, together, for a first time buyer worked out to 65 dollars. Absolutely fantastic, in my opinion.
When I got home, the first thing I did was load up a nuggie of the girl scout cookies and fire'd away! It took a few rips to let it set in, but whoa buddy! It kicks like a mule when it hits ya! And boy does it hit ya! I'll have more information available later on, on inquiry, about their black rose when I try it. I'm honestly not expecting it to be "great" though, but I do expect it to be "effective." I didn't buy it for how it looks, I bought it for it's content. But the girl scout cookies, overall, get a standard 4 leaf rating from me. Not the most amazing weed ever, but quite good. Better than good. I would easily compare this flower with DANK-Colorado and Green Man's. And the service definitely beat the crap out of Green Man's.
All in all, I found my first time experience at this dispensary to be quite enjoyable. High quality flowers and a great staff made the experience very much a pleasant one. I likely will be coming back to this place just to check in and see how they're progressing, even if I don't designate them my caretaker. My search continues, though.
Great job, Green Cross! You'll definitely be seeing me again soon, and thank you very much for setting the bar SUPER high (pun totally intended, rofl! ^.^) in my search for a permanent caretaker. You guys are one of the best, clearly. :D
~NOTE~ I am not an employee of this dispensary, nor do I work for anyone involved in the MMJ industry. I am a patient and a patient only. What you have just read is only my opinion and does not reflect the opinion of any individual other than myself.
~Follow up on the Black Rose~
So, I have more to add on from a pleasant evening of potsmoking. The Black Rose is fire. Smokes way better than it looks. Very effective as a high CBD content herb. I loaded up my bong and fired away, watched the sunset on my porch and had a jolly romp through my own thoughts. On quality of this bud, I give it a 4.5 leafs, for what it is. Just know this is less of a "fun" type bud as it is more of a "actual medicine" type bud, in my opinion. Fire nonetheless though. Again, great job Green Cross!
I would like to try them again, it's been years since I've shopped here, and that was in the early days of this place, when the "green rush" was happening, and dispensaries were randomly raising prices as high as possible and making up names for old pot to re-brand it. This place was alright back then.
NOW see, Credit cards dont let you take out that much cash, not enough for oz's and more, and most credit cards, they charge an extra fee on top of the $3 ATM fee. So you cannot come here, and swipe your Discover Card for your order (something they could EASILY remedy by using the FREE SQUARE READER for smartphones, computers, and tablets. I have one, and I don't even really need it. but it's free, and I have a smart phone, so I have it... stay with the times.) You must use an ATM, and if you are using actual Credit and not Debit, you really can't do much. SO, i'll assume all the other customers are right, that their quality is great, for fair prices. Looks good online.
But if the STAFF (1 star) can't provide ACCESSIBILITY (1 star) it really kills the ATMOSPHERE (1 star)
I leave this review, because this is the 5th place in an hour that I've called, that says ON HERE that they take Credit Cards, but really DO NOT, but make you use an ATM. What is this? The 80's? It's 2014! online credit transactions are the norm, and a requirement for people who have a certain pay schedule, and simply put everything on a card, and pay that off in full every month (like myself). None of my cards will let me take out more than $100 at once for cash, and they all charge a "convenience fee."
Get with the times, so you can make more money in a modern economy. WEEDMAPS is partially at fault here for not making this crucial clarification when telling us what dispensaries offer in terms of services.
Ive been searching the area for quite some time trying to find good medicine to relieve me from arthritis pain, and I've found it here! The staff was extremely knowledgeable, In particular Neil and Brayden. I have signed them over as my caregivers because their quality medicine and friendly staff leave me feeling satisfied every time!
Feels like a medical office. They helped me apply for my red card. Process took about 1.5hrs, with a lot of running around. Once done, I was able to go back that day and buy bud. Same lady helped me the whole time. Very nice and knowledgeable. Decent prices for good bud.
Tucked away off of Parker Road, it's not a flashy place. Neil was really nice and informative. I picked up some hash (all fire so far) but would like to come in when you're stocked up on sativa syringes and a wider variety of waxes/hash oils to choose from. He let me take a look at some of the bud and it looked like some goood. But so far I am very pleased with what I got and for the price. My favorite part about this place is NO TAX. hell yeah.
The lady there was really nice snd helpful. Prices are a little lower than average and the bud has been good.
Very organized nice layout. Hydro grown? Enjoyed it very much very profesional.
