It's been my experience that dispensary staff at CVD in Burlington have a working, but not, to my knowledge, a smoking experience. At Grassroots Vermont they talk the talk: many of the growers are patients. Their recommendations are empirical, rather than relying on general evaluations.
EVERYONE I've met has been kind -- a value declining in the population the older I get. Though supplies vary, as Grassroots is catching on, which is expected: A good job well done, and with Grace.
Grassroots is close by and easy to access. The strains are nice, mostly consistent but they do seem to run out a lot! Price is to be expected. Scheduling though very easy always seems limited. More hours would be nice and maybe get a few more employees in there to produce more. My only wish is they sold the CO2 oil that could be used in your own vaporizer set-ups. The pre-fill cartridges and batteries they sell leave a lot to be desired. They give inconsistent hits, the oil seems to solidify quickly and leaves a lot left in the pre-fills, and for 100 bucks a pop, it's not worth it... Otherwise, I have always been treated nicely and the folks that work there are friendly and engaged.
product selection seems to average about 5 strains a week lately. occasionally some more/new strains, but it tends to sell out quick (first come first serve). customer service leaves a lot to be desired (i guess they're going corporate so that explains a lot). i'll give two stars for price, but heads up: the discounted rate doesn't help as much if you're having to buy more than normal to meet your medicinal demands.
Looking at some of these reviews I'm shocked! The daily menu is updated every morning on their website, so even when they are running low, I know what's available before my appointment. When I call the appointment line I always hear back by the end of the Day and the bud is well priced and super potent. It's sad that the owner seems to only care about money and doesn't get the women who work there out front or the grow team the help they need To be able to meet the demand. I often hear patients yell at them in the dispensary while I'm in the waiting room. Those ladies have some seriously thick skin! Being open only four days a week with limited hours and running out of top strains daily makes it difficult to keep consistently medicated. I hope the recent corporate take over helps and doesn't eliminate the grassroots feeling...

I loved Grassroots when I first arrived but where they used to be so happy and eager to help, like others have said, the phone call thing is a mess and the bud quality... is so so frustrating because it used to smell lovely, have color variations, and mostly important got the job done in terms of relief but now we're getting product that all looks the same, smells the same, doesn't do much, and it burns up so quick that you're needing to buy more and more than you can afford just to medicate properly.
We're patients not customers, and I don't like feeling like I'm only there to make Grassroots money, not to get better. In fact I heard they're trying to open up some new locations once this new bill passes (when they aren't even handling the patient load they have now)?? Wicked disappointing.
And for what it's worth for future patients who wanna try their luck here, the menu/details page hasn't been updated in over a year so fyi -- the hours are wrong, they're only open 4 days a week (closed Wednesday), and ironically that one strain listed is a popular strain that keeps selling out in a week and is never available.
Friendly staff. They take me in on time and are always helpful. Product is great.

I am getting very tired of calling in my orders and not hearing back from anyone until their either sold out or you have to buy more the you can afford strains, This is medical marijuana that people need to have quality of live . I was told, that I would never have to worry about them running out again, but we are back in the same boat, once again. No, I do not believe they only listen to messages at 12 and at 4pm. I believe Lisa is taking her person life into the job field.

u can't get high when there's nothing to smoke
I found the grassroots despensary to be very reasonable priced. The woman I dealt with was very nice and friendly and explained everything I asked. The quality of the bud it self if great. She gave me all the information I needed cause I'll never remember everything she told me about the bud. Place was also very clean and was a professional environment. They even helped me out when I was 5$ short to get everything I wanted.
