I love coming here. They're really knowledgeable in there and the entire staff makes me feel welcomed and is always answering any questions I have. I've been smoking for more than 30 years and I highly recommend this place.
Lady was very rude because I had trouble opening the door. She was also very rude because I came in close to closing time. I was turned away even though I was there 15 mins prior to closing. She then lied to me and told me there were no other clinics in the area. I will never return.
Hi Elizabeth, I'm sorry that you had an unpleasant experience at our dispensary. Because we are a secure facility, we have a two-door system, which can be a little tricky on the first time coming here. When the weather is bad the doors tend to stick shut, so we apologize for the inconvenience there! However, the state does require that all first-time patients at a new facility receive an intake, which requires paperwork to be filled out and our staff to take time to go over about 30 minutes worth of information regarding our products and cannabis use with you. We would have happily scheduled you such an appointment had you called in advance, but we can only take as many walk-ins as our availability allows. Unfortunately 15 minutes before close would just not have given us enough time with you. There may have been some miscommunication on the accessibility of other clinics in the area, but we are, in fact, the only state licensed dispensary in York county.
They offer a very clean facility , great products , and a respectable staff. They have a good amount of products to choose from and they have good personal one on one rooms for privacy to look and review your choices of medication. They have a good amount of strains to choose from and options for other ways to medicate. Recommend the O-Pens at 500Mgs ( Hybrid Indica Sativa ) for the Pure Oil that has no additives or added composites. They Have an Maine Award Winning Strain called Strawberry AK (strawberrycough x ak47) that is amazing . Just ask and see for yourself....you wont leave without it . Overall a good place for medicine but be ready to pay the price for that quality ! They have Super Saver Deals Daily also so do not let the prices totally scare you off. Thanks Canuvo!
staff is super friendly and helpful! there's a good selection of products to suit whatever you're looking for. definitely would recommend!
I live in town here and am 8 years experienced with smoking but initially went to Remedy in Auburn an hour away due to reviews about Canuvos management. Once I got myself established there with a dosing of CBD that really managed my issues I decided to try Canuvos oil since they're so much closer. Was initially impressed with the atmosphere and the building but that certainly does not compensate now that I've had my experience. I purchased their olive oil CBD (made with a strain called shark something or other - not a known potent CBD strain) and a gram of their super saver bud which is over $14 a gram! $15 for their regular menu!! The flower had SEEDS in it and is still sitting in a drawer because it's ditch weed basically. I gagged on the first dose of oil and ended up in the ER after switching dispensaries. The oil also solidifies in the fridge! When confronted with this information I was told that I didn't dose correctly and that it works for many other patients. So basically there was no accountability or genuine empathy about my experience. This really upset me and I left completely dejected.
Needless to say I went back to Remedy! $10 a gram for consistently very good quality bud that gets tested more than Canuvo. They aren't just in it for the THC money making game, sucking money off of people dealing with physical pain management. Their edibles (brownies, etc) are also 3x cheaper than this place!! Remedy is more professional and secure. They also don't SCAN YOUR LISCENCE. They have a couple CBD strains and numerous others CONSISTENTLY on deck. The oil is made with a potent AC/DC strain, always, and the oil tastes/feels great. Made out of coconut oil so it absorbs quicker. Even with tolls, gas and time; it is cheaper and well worth going elsewhere. Definitely will keep passing the word around.
I've been going to CANUVO for the last 3 years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is so kind and attentive. They have a good variety of edibles and concentrates if your in to that. Ima buyer of flower and have ALWAYS been very happy with their product. As far as price, I feel they are on point
Have been going to Canuvo for a couple of months now, and overall I am happy with everything except for the prices. Staff remember you and are friendly and helpful. Sadly, I switched to another dispensary that had much better prices on bud and slightly higher quality.
My first impression of Canuvo happened when I was talking to the receptionist and asked what time it was in order to write down a sign-in time. The receptionist laughed at me and said "Are you serious? There is a digital clock right here didn't you look?" and she pointed to the window adjacent to where I was standing where a tiny digital clock was that is hardly noticeable in general let alone to a first time person. The tone of voice gets lost in trying to convey it writing but it was not a joking tone from the receptionist but quite negative almost making fun kind of tone which was strange because I was just asking a simple and quick question of the time. This initial impression would then permeate throughout the entire experience because the caregiver a met seemed to also have a non-personable attitude when it came to asking about pricing and questions pertaining to which product can help with certain symptoms. I managed to act politely the entire time but it was one of the worst experiences I have had in any place but especially a dispensary. I am not one for spending time writing negative reviews typically but in this instance I deemed it necessary to inform other potential patients to avoid this dispensary and I notice from reviews around the web that I am not the only one and there is a reason for that.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the manager who seemed to be yelling at everyone who came in and everyone was acting perfectly politely. One can tell that the manager does not enjoy their job and is consistently aggravated. I have since moved on to another dispensary and it has made a huge difference in how I am treated and the environment is much less stressful! If I could give one bit of advice it would be to avoid Canuvo if possible even if the drive to another location is a bit longer.

I just recently got my MM certificate in Mass so I'm relatively new to the dispensary experience. That said, I may have set my expectations a bit too high because I left Canuvo feeling like they fell short on a bunch of them.
At this point Mass doesn't have any dispensaries up and running so I figured I'd make the trek to Maine and check one out, Canuvo is the closest to Mass. It turned out I was lucky my doctor had the foresight to offer me the certificate for Maine on the special paper the state requires otherwise I would have made the entire trip for nothing as some other poor guy had done just before I arrived so I found out later.
Once inside Canuvo the setting is like a small neighborhood clinic with a friendly enough receptionist who took my info and got me processed for my appointment fairly quickly. I was then led by the bud tender to a little bar where she showed me a small assortment of edibles and several strains of some relatively good quality bud. We chatted and I asked her for her highest recommendation and went with that and a sampling of several edibles.
This being my first dispensary experience I have to say I was pretty disappointed. Aside from the mild disdain the bud tender showed for the state of Massachusetts during our conversation and the slightly higher than market prices on everything I think the fact my server unapologetically told me she'd just turned a guy away who'd made the drive up from Mass because his certificate was written on the wrong paper turned me off the most. Maybe it was the attitude behind that particular part of our conversation that put me off but If you decide to go with this one just be sure to triple check your paperwork first! All that said, the bud is overpriced but decent however the edibles are weak, very weak. 2.5 out of 5 starts, -2 if you're from Mass.
