SPARC is a nonprofit collective dedicated to providing, affordable, high quality cannabis and subsidized health services to our members. We aim to educate our patients about cannabis treatments and other alternative health approaches to supplement their medicine. SPARC advocates for government change. We seek to be a voice for the implementation of best practices for the regulation and taxation of medical cannabis.
Serving patients since 2001 SPARC began as a collaboration between several small collectives serving distinct patient populations in San Francisco. SPARC's work was focused primarily on serving low-income patients suffering from chronic and terminal illnesses. As our member-base continued to expand through the integration of small patient collectives, we sought a permit from the City of San Francisco to open a central healing center and dispensary. This important step allows us to increase our capacity to serve a wider array of members. Our organization is rooted in the same compassionate, patient-centered service that we have maintained for almost a decade. We work to bring a community-friendly and scientific approach to providing medical cannabis to our members. Your membership with SPARC helps us continue to expand our free health service programs, as well as our subsidized distribution network for seriously ill, low-income patients in San Francisco. We have been providing medical cannabis to critically ill patients in hospice at no cost for almost 10 years. "We are grateful for SPARC's partnership and support. We have seen many patients whose conditions have greatly improved through the use of cannabis for pain management, nausea, harm reduction and other valuable medical uses." Tim Patriarca, Former Executive Director of Maitri AIDS Hospice As a not for profit organization, our proceeds are reinvested directly into patient services and community activism. As we grow, our advocacy and patient services grow, too

SPARC lights my fire
My go-to place for everything. Top-quality and tested for mold and other naughty bits in addition to THC/CBD content. Menu has a nice variety for everyone. Great staff. Secure setting.
First time patient - great experience!
Friendly staff at the front desk quickly verified my referral and gave me an orientation with printed materials. After plunking in many coins in a metered parking spot across the street I was told about reimbursed parking at the SOMA garage. Cool! I left and reparked. This time coming back in just handed my membership card to be scanned and was right in the door. I came, on a friend's recommendation, to get Romulan. Don't you know that my budtender Eric says it's on sale today for 28/gm. My lucky day. I picked up some Purple Kush as well which qualified for the 15% new patient discount. But as a senior I will always get a 15% discount. The dispensary is well set up. The menu is huge. The buds look and smell great. I am definitely coming back as often as I can. Thanks for being "there" for me SPARC!
One of a Kind: Dog Friendly + Vape Lounge

We loved the hell out of this place for being dog-friendly because we love bringing our pooch everywhere.
The first thing you'll notice about SPARC is how professional it looks: sleek, modern, and extremely clean. It's pleasing to the eye and gives the dispensary a very elegant and classy feel. It's leaps and bounds above other stores in presentation, with gorgeous displays, wonderfully packaged weed, and eye-catching edibles. We received our weed in small, attractive glass jars, which was much better than the flimsy plastic bags we'd been getting at some dispensaries.
We picked out two kinds of weed (Romulan, XJ-13) and an edible (some sesame seed edible that looked interesting).
The Romulan was very dense and had an impressive amount of crystals that coated the buds thoroughly. It had a very pleasant, creamy aroma and helped put us to sleep.
The XJ-13 had the most pungent, attractive, citrusy smell I've ever smelled from weed. It was a delicious, sticky bud which we still have, since we used it sparingly because we love it so much!
My boyfriend received a free pre-roll for being a referrer, and I got a free pre-roll (I believe they might've been white widow?) as well for being a first-time patient, which were great bonuses.
There are many stations (tables) in store with Volcanoes that you can use. The front desk will provide you with grinders, vape bags, and alcohol wipes to sanitize the mouth-piece. They recommend that we only sit at the vape tables for 30 minutes to give other patients the opportunity to use them as well.
After we had made our purchase, we went to the front desk and checked out some of their vape equipment so that we could smoke our weed immediately.
It was a unique and incredibly satisfying experience sitting in a vape lounge with my dog and boyfriend, smoking in "public", while we also got to munch away on our edible, which was a very tasty sesame seed treat. I'd never felt so content smoking some bomb weed and sitting with two of my best friends.
SPARC is one the most memorable dispensaries I've been to and a solid favorite of mine. Thank you for the experience!
Cones only review - awful
Great place. Great staff. Bud and other product may be better but I was visiting ins town so tried some cones and an edible that rocked made by a Cali fav. Sorry but the cones sucked though.
Tried 3, the C4, Green Dragon, and Skyhash. All packaged nicely and at premium pricing.
Smoked the C4 and it was loose and shaky, didnt even last close to the filter before becoming a billowy spark cloud and tasted like little more than paper and leaf. Smelled liked shit compared to everything else being smoked where we went that night. Zero buzz.
Skyhash was a little tighter, but again paper taste and smell and only a mild buzz.
Green Dragon was better than the othet two but still not worth a damn for taste or high.
I would go there again but stay away from that product, nothing was worth even a dollar.
Great place to lounge
Parking can be a nightmare but I've found some back alleys that usually have free 1 hour parking so it's not too bad. The inside of the club is really nice. Clean and professionally run. I've been in there during peak hours and this place can kind of be like a zoo but you can get tea and chill out. When I feel like driving into the city for bud I usually end up here. Great place.
I need More Broken Arrow
so I can jam out to this Pierced Arrows record. Sparc is great
This Is the Best Dispensary in SF
In my opinion, this is the best spot in the city that ive been to so far...I came here with my buddy today, and the whole staff is nice and loving. Usually one security guard is outside, information exchange, Card and ID check..The lady is nice i shook her hand and she greeted me with a smile. She let me in. After filling out the usual policy papers..There's a guy who welcomes you in with an introduction, hes a nice guy, then you wait in line, depending on the time of day you usually have to wait a few minutes. Which for me is fine because Im not one of those people who steps inside of a cannabis dispensary and has a fit about it because thats just how it is. You get time to look at the menu. I didnt have to wait that long though, maybe 5 minutes at the most. I got some Ak-47, and a pre roll...pre rolls are impressive, great bud. Great selection of edibles. Love you guys. Ill definitley be coming back here, baisically my favorite spot in the city.

This is a pretty interesting club
My first thoughts:
-very professional, clean, and modern atmosphere
-very professional, positive staff
*This dispensary spares no expense in looking and feeling like a club, its very nice compared to one of the other clubs I've been to in the City of San Fransisco,*
-comes pre-weighed glass containers.
-labeled very nicely
*When picking out your weed, dont be afraid to take your time. I rushed, but i got the vibe that people were allowed to ask about the bud, and scope it out appropriately.*
I bought some "private reserve" OG kush, that was top shelf (55$/8th)
It was tested at 20.3% THC and .2% CBD. It looks very nice. Its dense nugs, seems a tiny bit dry for my preference, but nothing to be too concerned about, and the smell is strong, and good. Overall though, the bud seems just a tad overpriced.
My final review:
This is a good club for people who arent very knowledgable about bud. I personally like to have all the weed in front of me, but I havent seen many clubs do that in San Fran. You have to go to this club to really see what its about. Its pretty upper-class. I wish i would have picked some concentrate, to review that, but i only got the OG, and a Cherry AK-47 preroll that was surprisingly good. I think it said 27% THC. I hope my review helps you pick the club that works for you!
