Barbary Coast nonprofit collective is a licensed full service medical cannabis dispensary located in San Francisco that is dedicated to serving our community.
Barbary Coast Collective is located in the historical district of downtown San Francisco. The architecture itself conjures the image of a modern-day speakeasy, with exposed brick and mahogany tones, a nod to its prohibition past. Atmosphere coupled with knowledgeable staff means patients can feel relaxed while browsing for and inquiring about their medicine. Upon arrival patients are greeted with hospitality and a comfortable waiting room where patients are given the opportunity to sit and browse through our extensive, 10-page cannabis menu. Consults take place at the bar, where patients can seat themselves (or stand) while talking with their individual budtender and making their purchases. Our menu offers a wide variety of cannabis strains, concentrates, edibles, topicals, vaporizers, sublinguals and accessories at a broad and fair range of prices. Each strain of cannabis is individually stored in sealed Mason jars, and hand-weighed on a scale in front our patients for transparency and flexibility within their budget. We believe in helping our patients and maximizing their experience to the fullest with: demos, promotional giveaways, weekly deals on quarter ounces, etc. and hands-on interaction with our patients so they can have a good experience.

My favorite dispensary!
Great atmosphere, great bud and great location!
Honestly I'm in love.
This place is great! They have some great top shelf selections. I just tried the Sour Kenobi and I am an huge fan! It has a similar taste, like Master Yoda. If you're a fan of Master Yoda you're going to love this. It has a great taste and the smell is amazing. It's also very sticky which is always great. Try it, you'll love it. I can't wait for the new space to open up.
Top notch product, excellent customer service, comfortable vibe. Some dispensaries seem openly hostile to women, this place is welcoming and wonderful.
It was recommend to me by my friend who lives in SF and I was not disappointed
In love with their $35 quarters, please keep it coming for the loyal low income users. Staff are great and got offered a preroll for waiting longer than I anticipated, even though I don't believe I displayed a pace of rushing. It's right off from Powell Bart and quality of the bud, even the $35 quarters are very hard to beat. Thank you Barbary
Comfortable interior, cool staff, low-key vibe. Fantastic selection of concentrates. Highly recommended!
I just walked out of BC as a first-timer and I can tell you the experience was 100% positive. The people are friendly and accommodating, and you'll never feel rushed. Each of the bud-tenders really knows their offerings and can explain them in detail. Have a question? They'll take the time to answer it. They even give first timers like me a freebie joint now how nice is that! And in my case I spent over $100 so I got another bonus freebie joint... HEY I like this place!!!
Bonus points: my bud tender was a super sweet young thing who looked like she could have been Rooney Mara's younger sister - same sweet caring eyes as
Rooney... now how sweet is that?!!
best shop in the city. huge selection. very friendly staff from front door to budtenders.

my caretaker has been patroning barbary for me since they first opened shop. I have been apart of the MJ movement in sf since 2004 and have been medicating since i was in my early teens. barbary is the best club in the city since divinity tree way back when they were on divis, before geary....U will NEVER get bad or dry med at barbary, even the quarter specials are FIRE. i am on tight budget and disabled, and barbary treats me very very well....its the only place i have my caretaker go and i have been to literally every dispensary in city since 2004...barbary is best club in city right now hands down...i wont go anywhere else for my med and when i do i usually regret it. thank u barbary!!!
