I have been a steady patient with PLE for years and rarely have I ever had a problem with them until recently. The bud is great, all products they carry are great but today I placed an order and it took them 2hrs and 45 minutes to deliver. The person on the phone informed me of longer wait times (I was told an hour and a half) so I expected a little wait but dang near 3 hrs? I called 2hrs and 20 minutes into the wait and I was told drivers were being slowed down by protesters in El Cajon. I live in Ocean Beach... Why is a driver coming to me from El Cajon? Wouldn't it be better to have zones for drivers to cover so they don't need to zig zag back and forth? IE: John covers OB/PB, Rick covers Carlsbad/Oside, etc.. Wait times are usually a little long but for me thats never a problem as I rarely order when I am completely out of product. Bud Quality and Prices are normal, prices could be better but no complaints. In the end I still like the place and believe they are one of the better places to go in the San Diego area just not happy this time around. I did still tip my driver $5 because in the end it's not their fault but bad experience this time.
Apologies are in order as it seems I didn't articulate the reason your order was late correctly. Due to the traffic and protesters late in the afternoon it set our entire crew back on delivery times . We had to send some of our central drivers to cover the delay out east which pushed back orders. I was in between taking orders and verifying a new patient when you had called. You weren't contacted with an updated delivery time like the rest of our patients were. Our delivery area spans from La Jolla up until Mir Mar , Downtown , and all the way to Alpine. So as you can imagine when this happened to us today it became an issue with a small amount of patients we delivered to. And we do our best to get everyone medication in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. If you have the time in future please call the shop and ask for Nick , I'd love to find some way to make up for the unreasonable amount of time the order took and the lack of communication on our end.

Service - always an hour or more wait regardless of time of day or day of week. They are ALWAYS LATE -- I've ordered about 5x and every single time was late.
Quality -- cartridge quality SUCKS, I bought the "platinum vape 1G" - tastes horrible, like some chemical they use in children sweat shops. Most disgusting vape I've ever tried, and this is the name of their company.
This patient ordered from us only one time. Platinum Vape Carts are a company not affiliated with us at all. This was explained to this patient as was the fact that they bought a budget cart . A fact that was explained to her in the ordering process. A full gram for 25$ , expecting it to be a premium product. This patient clearly did not know anything about cartridges based on our conversation on the phone. She simply stated she didn't like the way it tasted and was giving her opinions on the quality , which is subjective at best. People have different tastes across the board. Platinum Vapes is a great 1 gram cart for the price point. If premium carts are what a patient is after we offer many wonderful options including 710 Kingpen. All we got out of the conversation after trying to make things right with this was that she was extremely entitled and hostile , trying to get the cart replaced because she didn't like the way it tasted. Very rarely do I say this about anyone but she was extremely childish and rude. We cover All of San Diego from La Jolla to Alpine and all inbetween , at competitively lower prices than a good 90% on weedmaps in our area. Her membership with our Collective has been terminated.
I ordered a few hybrid pens from this place. The guy was Sooo helpful! He helped me choose the best ones for my condition and explained how and why certain hybrids were better for certain things. I was kind of nervous because I had never tried the medical marijuana route for pain/sleep. The pens were delivered within the hour and I loaded one in a pen and gave it a try. That's all I remember...I woke up the next day after sleeping a solid 8 hours. I wasn't groggy or slow and my pain was still gone. I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Platinum!
Advertised do si do as 24.5% thc on weedmaps and gorilla glue as 25.1% thc on weedmaps - delivered labeled bags at 24.1 and 23.1 respectively. When I called customer service to ask why that was, they just said it was mislabeled because it was just tested. When I asked him when it was tested, he said "uhhh...like uhh a week and a half ago...". When I told him that the label said it was tested three days ago, he said "THE LABEL says that. THE LABEL is wrong." No solution offered. No apology. No offer to make up for false advertising and really mediocre bud. Just "uhhhh bruh the label is wrong."
I won't ever order from here again, and you shouldn't either.
i really liked the people on the phones , they took great care of me and delivered extremely fast , flower was the best I've seen in north park and I've had about 100 deliveries so far . Had to give a great review for the awesome service .
An awesome delivery with competive pricing. Delivery times are always on par with other delivery collectives. I use platinum for flower and the occasional concentrate, usually a shatter. One small gripe, lately it seems when I make my usual quick call, The phone person on the phone tries to pitch me on products Im not interested in. It makes my weekly quick call a good minitue longer. Not a big deal but it is starting to get inconvenient.
