Before we tell you about our clones we need to clear up a common misconception.
Many people seem to think that if they buy a clone or seed that is from an excellent strain of weed that won a cannabis cup that the plant they grow with this clone of a cannabis cup winning strain will end up being of the same quality just because of it's award winning genetics. Also Some people think that if the picture has a lot of crystals that they can grow it identical with just dirt and water and because of the look of the picture they think it will come out to be the same quality. There is a reason why so many people try to grow and quit shortly after discouraged and frustrated with lost time and money.
Here's the truth,
an amature grower can take a seed or clone of a strain like Skywalker OG and the plant he grows may end up being crap with no more than 6% THC even though the strain has been tested at somewhere between 19%-25%. An experienced grower can take a seed from a bag of crappy import and the plant he grows from that seed will be as good as most of the MMJ you see at dispensaries. Although a lot has to do with genetics as well as technique. Same with clones. Growing ( Clones or Flowering ) its all about technique and genetics. So the best method is to get seeds from a reputable seed breeder to ensure you are getting the strain you want. Clones are a little more risky as there are a lot of bad clone companies out there, so even if you do not buy from us, here are some tips to help you how tell good quality cuts from the bad ones. Although there is no way to ensure you actually get the strain you want, or getting a healthy strain in general.
Here's some basic information to know what to look for when buying clones.
First off you want honestly from the get go. If you're not sure what to ask, or how to tell if they are lying to you, Try using these tips to start off with. This will help you tell if the person is lying to you about the clones they carry. No honest company will lie to you. If they are honest chances are they have what they say they do
One thing that everyone must know about marijuana clones is
** THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LAB TESTED GENETIC VERIFICATION FOR MARIJUANA PLANTS**
Which means if a company says their strain is verified by lab testing.. They are lying. Also research the company before purchasing on google to see what others are saying. Every company has complaints but if a company has multiple complaints about the same issue over and over, then you should consider steering clear from these companies. Mr. Clone is the only company that actually allows any and all reviews to be posted on their site as long as there is no foul language or racist remarks. So not only do you get to see the good, you also get to see the bad. We will not hide anything from our patients. You get to see it all.
This is why Mr. Clone was created. To bring a honest clone company that has the quality of cuts and actually has the strains that it lists. Not only will you get the strain you ordered, but you will never get unwanted strains with your order just so we can fill it. If we are out of a strain, we tell you. If our cuts looks small or kinda crappy, we throw them out. Mr. Clone will never deliver a cut that the owner wouldn't take and grow himself. That is the Mr Clone standard.

All of our strain mom's come from seeds not clones. This guarantees we are getting the correct strains and genetics. It also ensures you start off with a healthy, pest and pathogen free plant.
How to Confirm A Plant was Grown From Seed
There are two characteristics that all marijuana plants grown from seed have that a plant grown from a clone / cutting will not have.
The first thing to look for is to look at the branching at the base of the stalk. If the branch pattern is in pairs of two's (one branch growing at the same level as another branch but on the direct opposite side of the stalk) at the base of the stalk then it's almost definitely a marijuana plant grown from seed, not a clone. ( Example picture is in our photos section ) A cannabis plant grown from a clone / clipping will have staggered branching at the base of the stalk.
The other thing to look for is concentric rings (indentations) around the base of the stalk. This is something only a marijuana plant grown from seed will have.
You can't be certain the clone / plant you are buying is the strain the person says it is, but you can at least keep yourself from buying a clone with bugs or a disease. If you buy a clone with a disease or bugs you might introduce something to your garden that will take a lot of trouble and time to get rid of, such as spider mites or powdery mildew (often referred to as PM). Here's a thorough checklist to insure that you are getting a good healthy marijuana clone or plant.
All the leaves should be green, not pale green or yellow and no burnt tips or spots.
The leaves should all be "straight", not twisted or curled like an eagles claw.
The stalk should be green or light brown, not purple or dark brown.
Look the entire clone over for any white or grey spots on the leaves or stalks. Powdery mildew if present, is usually going to be on the top side of a leaf or near the base of the stalk. Really take your time and look thoroughly, powdery mildew can often be hard to spot. PM is very common on clones in California. Once you train your eyes to spot it though, you notice it easily.
Look under a couple of the leaves with a magnifying glass for any bugs. Take at least 20 seconds to let your eyes adjust to the magnifying glass and adequately analyze what you are looking at. Spider mites and a few other types of bugs prefer to hide on the underside of leaves.
Most clones are sold in cups, ( sometimes to conceal the fact they have not rooted yet ) take the cup and hold it over a white piece of paper or hold it over some glass and tap the side of the cup (a good hard tap) at the base a few times. Then check the paper or the glass with the magnifying glass for any bugs. Thrips and a few other types of bugs like to hang out in the soil.
If you are buying aeroponic clones or any other clone that you can see the roots on, the roots should be white, not beige, brown, grey or any other color.
If the roots are brown or soft and mushy, that is a sign of root rot and you should refuse the accept the clones.
So what really makes Mr. Clone better than the rest?
In addition to growing our mom plants from seeds from trusted breeders, preventing unwanted contaminants that can come from clones or cuts ( each strain has breeder listed in menu section ) we also have give our mom's and cuts a little extra to help them get started. The extras we put into our moms and clones do a few different things that are obvious in the end result
Our clones are given the right amount of nitrate's as the plant will store up to 70% of the nitrates it needs for its entire plant life.
We also give our moms a special blend of feed with a special formula I created that will
#1 More root mass with much more lateral root growth. Helping your roots get a great start to whatever medium you transplant to.
#2 Our clones will transition in less time than any other companies.. YES EVEN HARBORSIDE'S CLONES!
Our average transition time is usually 7-9 days instead of the 13-16 day time. You will see buds forming in about a weeks time. That means it has started producing instead of adjusting when put into flowering
#3 Faster rooting time. Our cuts root in 5-7 days. Also they start off with a lot of the stored energy that it will need for flowering. One example is the transition time.
#4 Higher brix and higher resistance to pathogens and pets. Our moms Brix tests show the levels any where between 11.3-15.2 brix. Our mother plants are so healthy that every cutting taken from them will have more root mass, more lateral growth, healthier, have a bigger diameter, already have beneficial bacteria on the roots, ( the white fuzzy stuff ) and will already have a lot of stored energy in the roots that will be needed in flowering.

The reputation comes from actually getting healthy, pest and pathogen free clones, and most importantly.. The strain they say your getting is the strain you get but they are still lacking in preparing your cuts for maximum results. We are unsure if this is because of cost of the extra's they need, or just because most of their customers are just worried about getting clean cuts and getting the actual strain they are told they are getting. Either way... They are behind Mr. Clone when it comes to maximizing your potential.
Mr. Clone now has many of Harborside's customers driving down south to pick up from Mr. Clone as our results show that there is much more to having a great harvest than just getting good genetics. By not giving the strains the necessary ingredients it needs to not just succeed, but to maximize and even exceed what the strain is rated to do, means that you are not getting the maximum potential out of your clones.

Sir We are extremely confused and we believe you are to as just a few days ago you left this review ""Had issues with the delivery made to me yesterday. I went out of town and my wife picked up the 58 OG plants, which I noticed immediately had spider mite eggs.( were you sent pictures because you stated you were out of town so it could not be possible it was immediately It seems as though you may have had this issue already and that is why you see eggs and no mites since you were out of town and could not have possibly seen them immediately ) Nothing living YET, but I'm really frustrated and need a resolution. Call me immediately. You can look me up by email "" I am not sure how you could have flowered 7 strains from us when you claim to just have picked up and had it delivered 58 og cuts and 80 of the 818 cuts and you only donated $800 ish which would be almost half off which confuses us even more as to how that became 7 strains and the review left Which changed into another review and now to this one. So are you trying to say that we delivered to you when you were out of town at the same time your wife picked up clones from our shop that doesn't exist as we do not do walk ins at all and your wife picked up clones but we also delivered? then you got the above strains but as you were out of town you also got the 818 as well? Can you please help us understand as the statements your making here make no sense and are basically different each time. Please help us because we have no idea what is going on. Ok to clarify, we only do same day or first come first serve on all orders, there are no future orders so we could not have been 3 days late on your order as unfortunately we do not take pre-orders anymore and we almost never have that many of 1 strain at one time due to selling our rooted cuts so fast and just re opening a couple days ago, also if we had brought you the wrong strains once as you state, why would you not tell us so we could fix the issue? Also your stating that in 5 days you had flowered out the cuts? We are completely lost as to what you are saying as it seems .. Well we have no clue what you mean as your statements are contradicting and keep stating different things. I am getting confused as to what happened as you keep editing your review so it is becoming confusing as to what the real issue was. Also before you edited your review you stated you got 80 of the 818 which is from one of our breeders Cali Connection and came from seed ( Verifiable ) and was a cannabis cup winning strain was horrible but ending quality would be determined by the grower and their skill set. In other words you control the ending quality not us, we just supply the award winning genetics, Also.we do not have a " delivery Crew " and there would not be a reason to bring you the incorrect strain as we only have what is on our menu that is updated daily there really would not be a way to trick or bring the wrong strain to you as we would not list us having more of one strain that was not the true strain we say because customers order so many different strains from our menu it would do us no good to have more clones listed then we have, specially if someone ordered everything on the menu we had left. This would leave us telling the customer we do not even have the amount listed posted on our site and would literally cause a us to look like idiots and liars and with how many orders we get If you say our genetics are not top notch you are actually saying that the breeders we get our strains from are bad, in which case, contradicts their reputation and awards that they have gotten and all of the proven tests run on them. Our breeders are known around the world for their outstanding quality and cup winning strains and ALL of our strains come from these breeders, from seeds and verifiable to anyone.Just to note and to clarify a possible misconception, Many inexperienced growers believe that just getting the strain of a cup winner will allow them to produce that same quality of product in which case this is not true as it takes the perfect environment and nutrients and lighting to achieve this. We suggest looking into some grow literature to further your grow knowledge which will help advance you to growing much better meds. I hope you can increase your knowledge of these very intricate plants and produce that cup winning quality sometime in the near future as it seems you are very upset at something but from all the different statements it makes it impossible for us to help you as none of the statements made by you tell us a true issue that you had. Or if you even ever ordered from us at all or got confused and think we are another company you purchased from.

Got some clothes, put them in my quarantine area, little over a week later no problems at all no powdery mildew no bugs. It would be almost impossible to have root aphids the way they deliver these and not be able to see them since they're delivered in Rockwool . I've never seen Roots as thick white and fuzzy as I see on these guys clones. All you have to do is ask them for their magnifier when they show up and they will let you take your time and inspect the Clones as long as you want for any kind of these issues I can't wait to see what the end result is
Thanks for the review.. All of our clones are actually put into quarantine for 24 hours prior to being released to customers and they are also delivered in Rock Wool cubes so that the customers can full inspect the cuts ensuring there are no issues at time of delivery.

Seen better cuts from my BFF in Hemet. Hemet... that says something. you guys Suck, with a capital $... greedy and money hungry and need to spray your plants for mites. Everything your driver brought me last week was covered in root aphids. Not impressed and this wasn't my first time ordering with you guys.
Sorry you have Aphids in your room. Unfortunately we were not even open until 2 days ago. As all patients are thoroughly explained to at time of delivery all clones have a warranty on them. We just do not cover under watering over watering nutrient burn or extreme PH issues. But if you send us pics and at least let us try to help you solve the issue, we are usually going to replace the plants no matter what. It would be impossible for us to have aphids as our plants have been seen recently as promoted on " Big buds magazine site" Raw brand nutrients site under " testimonial" as well as many others. This recognition comes from having not only extremely good mothers and clones, but for also have the best genetics in California. Period. Not even Dark Heart can compare. You can not earn these achievements with plants that have issues you state they do. Unfortunately you room seems to be infested with this issue and we would suggest that you contact a professional to help you fix the issues before you attempt any more grows. it's kind of interesting to me as clone Queen who remade their name clone Guild goes off of Weedmaps all of a sudden all these clone companies get bad reviews. Let me tell you guys something I've gotten four different batches of clones from the sky. Every batch was outstanding. You really want to know if these bad reviews are real or not go check out their YouTube channel or ask him just to send you a picture of their plants. You'll know right away where the BS is coming from and who's telling the truth. These guys have the best genetics. Hands down. It amazes me how people go out of their way to leave bad reviews that are just ask him to send you a picture. Too many clone companies popping up now giving BS reviews or having their friends give BS reviews. One guy didn't water his plants and blames it on a clone company. This review thing is getting out of hand I think you guys need to start doing something of verify purchases to prevent legitimate companies like Mr clone from getting burned by idiots like the last guy who left a review and the guy before that it was probably the same guy and the guy before that who didn't even water his plants and posted pictures on Google Maps where you can plainly see the plants dried up and died try using Google before you post stuff it's stupid because he vidiots ruin the good companies and leave us no choice to get good clones for anyone it took me years to find this guy finally legitimate clone person and stupid idiots like these guys purposely hurt their business for no reason knowing that it's bull crap. Bad reviews are part of any business. We should see it as a way to better ourselves. Unfortunately, there are always the ones that are just a tactic by some to hurt your way of living. We know who this is and they think we must have given their failed business a bad review. We do not have time for that petty behavior. We are more focused on helping our patients. This person will leave a few more reviews before he is done guaranteed. Unfortunately for us, people like this exist. Fortunately for us though websites like YouTube exist where we can show how inaccurate these reviews are.
Bought over 10 plants, didn't check the inventory before I handed over the cash. Big mistake. The leaf size on the clones always tiny. Never seen anything so pathetic. Decided to give it a go and see how they did with a couple weeks. They were stunted. Pineapple crush was the only 1 half way decent, and I gave them away and threw away the other defective group of clones purchased through this company. I don't feel confident about the health of these mother's. The roots looked brown at the ends. In comparison to better company's clones, it seems Mr Clone had smaller rock wool size which didn't give them much room to grow. I believe that the reason they were stunted was a usage of a pest preventative. Which is good, but less is more with those treatments. It seems. The vigor of the competitors clones was enough to make this batch seem like a bad bet.
I will say, your delivery girl showing up with professional looking paperwork, was the only redeeming quality to the transaction. Think dark heart or 1 of those other stellar companies that people wait over night to get a clone from. You need to work on a better standard for greater quality product or you will be out of business in the near future. I wish you the best with that.
We do not use any pest prevention chemicals. Also as informed at time of delivery a 60 watt CFL bulb will not grow these plants like they will grow under a Metal Halide, LED, or even a fluorescent bulb. The leaves are smaller due to the fact we cut them in half to induce rooting. The rockwool size has nothing to do with the plants growth. Also as I told you when you ordered on the phone, You need to give the plants more nutrients then just superthrive and silica as these do not have the necessary ingredients to give the plants what they need to grow. Also Miracle grow is not a substitute for nutrients regardless of what someone at home depot told you.
On a different note,
You were told at delivery that we have a warranty on all of our plants. If there was an issue you could call the store and speak to the manager who would have definitely replaced the plants if there was an issue. But you recieved the plants over a month ago. So if there was an issue, contacting us would have resolved it as we would have taken care of you no problem. After one month of having the plants though, if they did not grow, it could not have been an issue on our part. Even if the plants had some type of issue, it would have shown prior to a month. Also on delivery you were shown the roots of every plants you received. I personally put your order together and there was no brown roots on any of the clones. If there was they would have been trashed. We do not sent out any bad clones as this would just make us have to replace them costing us time and more product which we would also have to pay a driver to take them to you so it is not in our best interest to do so. You were informed at delivery also that they need to be given proper nutrients by our delivery person. If the plants lasted over a month they had to be healthy enough to make it that far. Anything after about a 72 hour period that causes issues with the plants unfortunately is grower error, but we still will replace plants if within a reasonable amount of time. 1 month is longer than we can guarantee plants for but as stated on delivery, we ALWAYS take care of our patients even though it may be grower error and we inform the patients about plant care and that if there is a issue to take pictures and send to us to we can help you with the issue. Again we would never leave a patient with bad plants. Our goal is to help all patients have successful harvests.
I am sorry that your clones did not work out for you but unfortunately the grow methods that you were using are not optimal or even good for the plants health and vigor.
We would be happy to get you some new clones if you call us, but you would have to call us to set something up. We also have a walk through program to show you how to grow and a proper nutrient schedule that you can do. Please let us know so we can get you taken care of, but without changing some things about your grow, you are going to get the same results.
Horrible Experience.I bought 70 plants and 2 days later 25 are dead. Staff used ever excuse in the book.

Sir. You got 70 clones yes. 4 days ago not 2 as we are closed on Sundays. You then put them in the back of your truck, went to an AA meeting and then went home. You sent us pictures 4 days later of clones that were dead due to not watering them. Which we still have pictures that you sent us and anyone you ask will tell you the same reason your plants died was due to not watering them. Unfortunately we can not provide replacements for clones that die due to grower neglect. Under watering or over watering the plants is not covered under our warranty.
You stated you just had to throw away 150 clones due to the same reason a few days prior, so I am not sure how that mistake is our fault.
We would gladly of exchanged your clones or replaced them free of charge if there was an issue that was from the clone itself, but not because you forgot to water them or transplanted them into a pot that was to big and then allowed them to dry out. That is grower error and unfortunately we can not replace them due to that.
The Pineapple chunks that you got were EXTREMELY green LARGE in size and had MASSIVE white root zones while in rock wool. You were extremely happy when you received them and told us you were going to be back to buy more because our quality was outstanding. Also the picture you sent us and your texts said it was 16 clones. Now there is 25 dead so it seems the problem is continuing well after the fact. I would suggest watering them heavier than you are now to ensure health and survival.
Yes Sir we have a guarantee but unfortunately we cannot guarantee the grower will not kill the plants. We can only guarantee that if the plants die due to non grower error, we will replace them as we do and have done every single time. I am sorry for your loss sir, but the care of the plants is your responsibility once you receive them and we do not and can not monitor your care for them. We also can not follow up with all patients to make sure they are correctly watering the plants and/or caring for them properly. We do however offer advice to all patients, but if the basic elements are not given to the plants, they will die every time. Water is a necessity with all plants. Sorry again for your loss.
GREAT PLANTS!! I am so glad I took a chance and went out to Riverside to pick up some of YOUR clones. One can see the care and time put into these babies. They were perfect; good solid root stock and very healthy! Might I add they were all bug free!! This is so far the best cloning purchase I have made. The plants are thriving in a soil grow. I will be back for more plants as these mature.
