CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE & REPONSE

Our #1 priority at Hey High is the health and safety of all members in our community. Los Angeles has listed cannabis retailers as an essential business under the LA County coronavirus order. As we closely monitor the situation with guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local health officials - we will remain open during this tough time period to deliver and serve all of our customers their beloved cannabis products. We currently have had 0 employees report any symptoms. If any symptoms were to arise with an employee, we would not allow them to come into work.

We will continue to focus on taking proactive measures to ensure cleanliness in the work place.

1. All employees entering the building are required to thoroughly wash their hands immediately.

2. We have stringent procedures in place to wipe down and disinfect the work place.

3. All drivers shall be wearing masks.

Ordering cannabis via delivery with us through text messaging or with Weedmaps Ordering is going to be one of your best options during this time period due to the limited physical human interaction. Our drivers will keep the transaction as short and efficient as possible!

TAX GUIDE

Taxes are not included in pricing.

We understand that taxes are a tough subject since it is so high (not in a good way) in the cannabis industry. Some retailers include all the taxes into the list price, some retailers only include some taxes in the list price, some retailers discount some taxes randomly, and some completely separate the taxes all together. At the end of the day, every single licensed retailer must pay these taxes one way or another.

We made the decision to separate all taxes so it is clear where your money is going.

Here is the breakdown -

State Cannabis Excise Tax - 15%

Local Cannabis Tax - 6%

Local Sales Tax - 10.25%

Due to California Policy of Cumulative Taxes - TOTAL Tax will be 34.4%

If you have a Medical Marijuna Identification Card (MMIC), you will NOT be charged the Local Sales Tax & you will have a reduced Local Cannabis Tax of 5%. Your new Total Tax will be 20.75%

Since we are based out of Culver City, you are saving 4% on the Local Cannabis Tax. Most other counties have a tax rate of up to 10%.
