About this strain: Northern Lights

Northern Lights is one of the most famous and sought-after “Indica” strains of all time. Considered a descendant of Afghani and Thai landrace strains, the exact origin of Northern Lights remains a bit of a mystery. It may have originated in Washington in the 1970s, prior to reaching the Netherlands, where breeder Neville Schoenmaker pioneered several Northern Lights phenotypes in the ’80s for The Seed Bank, an early iteration of Sensi Seeds.

Since 1985, when Sensi Seeds first commercialized this strain, Northern Lights has been a landmark Indica strain in cannabis culture. Northern Lights #5 — arguably the most popular Northern Lights phenotype — won the Cannabis Cup in 1989, 1990, and 1992. Sensi Seeds currently offers feminized, non-feminized, and autoflowering Northern Lights seeds.

Love the HH brand, super smooth and powerful. Great taste with no after taste left lingering. I would highly recommend this brand above all others!!

1st Heavy Hitters cart

Pretty dope. I'd put it as number 2 on my all time favorite list right behind Hash Artist Farms.

Definitely worth the buy

Good clean smoke taste like carrot juice to me but burns quick unless it’s just me probably is seeing as I wake up to smoke and smoke all day till I fall asleep 🤷🏽‍♂️😊

Potent, tastes like a pine tree

Really potent cartridge for only being at 86%... only downside is I dread the taste of each hit. Reminds me of a pine tree or a cheap gin. Not quite for my pallet but as long as I get medicated the taste is not super important to me.

No kick.

Honestly, I can't tell what this Northern Lights. It doesn't alleviate pain, cause any cerebral sensations or euphoria. I know that it is Indica dominant, but it just knocks me out, I can sleep for like 16 hours if I didn't have two kids. Anyways, this stuff does nothing other than make me ridiculously tired.

Idk what it's supposed to taste like...

...but it tastes like chemicals. Like a weird pine cleaner for your wood floors. It's gross. But it's smooth and gets you high.

Hmm

This is the first time I've tried this brand and I'm not impressed at all. Another reviewer said that it was lacking potency and I must agree: just doesn't seem to have that punch. It's a good "chaser," but definitely not by itself. I don't think I'll be sticking with this brand unless they improve on their quality.

Disappointed...

After seeing it had so many good reviews I decided to pickup a 1grm of heavy hitters northern lights and the taste is terrible!! Straight up burnt flavor.. no pine, floral, earthy, nothing. I picked it up from a dispensary on their website and the manufacturing date is recent. I've use their products before and have had good experiences with a couple of their last flavors, but this one is garbage. And unfortunately I live pretty far from this dispensary so I can just go back and return it because I only go maybe once a month. Waste of time and money... 😒 Only reason I gave it 2 Stars instead of 1 is that it gave me a head change.

Why...

Doesn't work to great on me. After $75. I should feel something. I gave it 2 stars for the taste, very clean.
